Robert is a self taught artist who produces detailed realistic work of wildlife, bay scenes, and landscapes. He enjoys working in oil, watercolor, pen & ink, and pencil .

Bob is continually fascinated with the facial expressions and body language of wildlife, which he tries to capture on film for later reference in his work. He explores the intensity and confusion in those expressions, and their posture often leads him to ponder just what they are up to. It is this he depicts in much of his work. He likes to leave the viewer with a piece of work that arouses their curiosity.

Bob is a Signature Artist member of the Baltimore Watercolor Society, and an Associate member of the Society of Animal Artists.
